The link used to download ttf-opensymbol:

no longer exists. I successfully used

The right checksum is 2f10609b35284c2b8c62ee86e479a5d491a6e656 (there is a 6 
missing at the end, in the code example it is posted right)

I opened the winetricks sh file in "/usr/bin/" I replace the line with the web 
address and the code at end of that. But it did not works sorry if disturb.

You need to change the checksum too.

A possible solution for these transient downloads, if a permanent host cannot 
be found, may be to use a lightweight torrent program. Might not be very 
successful though. Checksums should still protect file integrity.
