Vaccine distribution and administration desynchronization

Distribution and administration numbers may become desynchronized due to the following:

A full booster dose of Moderna (Spikevax) will be used for residents of long-term care (LTC), assisted living, and independent living facilities; people awaiting placement in LTC; and people 70 years of age and older, as they are at higher risk of COVID-19 disease. A half dose will be used for all other adults.
