Issue with Syncing buddies

I'm having a very minor issue with the app. It worked 100% on my old Droid X, 
but not so on my new Droid Razr.

The GeekBuddies list shows 'No buddies' after syncing. I've pulled down the 
notification bar to monitor the sync process and after collection and plays it 
says 'syncing buddies list' and 'syncing buddies details', but the list remains 
empty.

I've tried clearing the app data (both from the app's settings and the Droid OS 
'Manage Apps' control) and uninstalling and then reinstalling the app.

I'm having the same issue on the latest release of the app 4.8.2
I can see listed only one geekbuddy, obtained in previous sync with older 
version of the app. I recently added new geekbuddy through the website, but the 
app doesn't sync them.

I can see the notification icon with the label "Refreshing stale buddies" but 
the new geekbuddy is not added to the geekbuddy list.
The collection of the only buddy i can see in the list get updated instead 
after the sync.

I'm using android 2.3.6 on Htc Nexus One.
