the plot_ctf function currently does not work for plotting the CTF over the power spectrum of a micrograph, similar to what Ctffind does. The problem could be a missing factor in the CTF that I'm forgetting, or some mismatch in the frequencies I'm plotting the CTf against. Either way I believe we should decide on weather to include this function and fix the plotting, or leave the functionality our for the time being.
