There's no visual sign that it is "working" on creating the merged result page, 
until of course the page is ready.

So, there is feedback, but at the top of the page, which you've likely scrolled 
past.  It just needs to be at the top of the viewport rather than the top of 
the page.

Oh. (Which brings up another question: shouldn't we sort runs in reverse 
chrono?)

It's the other way right now since the "View Runs" button is at the bottom.  
It's basically the opposite problem as the status.  The whole thing needs a 
good redesign.
