3.1.1 Crashing when going past an mp4 video #374

Open stotka1 opened 1 year ago

Using the arrow keys, it would crash after previewing an mp4 then going to the next item in the folder.

Have you tried to update your graphical driver?

Hi

would you please follow the instruction here: http://1218.io/seer/user-ini.html Set the log under media to Ture. Then preview a mp4 to crash again, and send me the Seer_mdk.log file?

stotka1 commented 1 year ago

I cannot find the user.ini Where is it located?

stotka1 commented 1 year ago

ok, now where is the Log file?

ccseer commented 1 year ago
  1. open Explorer,
  2. paste %TEMP%/Seer, enter
  3. there should be two log files if you enabled log under media
stotka1 commented 1 year ago

seer_mdk.log Here you go

Hi, you can try to set the decoders to "MFT:d3d=11", D3D11, DXVA, CUDA, FFmpeg, dav1d then see if it crashes again.

stotka1 commented 1 year ago

Still crashes

ccseer commented 1 year ago

all mp4 files, right? not a specific file

stotka1 commented 1 year ago

Yeah, multiple different mp4 files

ccseer commented 1 year ago

sorry about it. I will let you know asap when I have a solution.

stotka1 commented 1 year ago

Sure, no problem.

ccseer commented 1 year ago

Hi can you try to set the decoders to FFmpeg

It would be rendering video without GPU. I believe it's related to your graphic card or graphic driver. Have you tried to update the graphic driver? Alao what graphic card are you using, NVIDIA or Amd?

stotka1 commented 1 year ago

Set to just FFmpeg and it works now. Thanks

ccseer commented 1 year ago

The bug might have been fixed, would you please help test it?

ccseer commented 1 year ago

Hi, is it still crash in Seer-3.2.0?

The value has been restored.

stotka1 commented 1 year ago

Sorry, I was away from my PC for some time. The crash is happening again with the new update

ccseer commented 1 month ago
