I have assigned this to @ptran265 since she has been the one involved with updating this part of the code. There is currently a pull request (https://github.com/ccsm-cds-tools/ccsm-cds-with-tests/pull/23) open to add test cases to the rare abnormalities sections, which affect this part of the L3. If this L2 section gets resolved this week, we can add the update to that pull request, however if it requires further review, it probably makes more sense to make this update in a separate pull request down the road.
I made the changes Sharon mentioned, and you can see the updated CQL logic in the new branch called test_branch2. There are 2 case tests that are still failing (I33HistologicHSILNegSurv1YearConcernedAboutFuturePregnancy2 and I34HistologicHSILNegSurv3YearsConcernedAboutFuturePregnancy2) due to our definition of 'negative HSIL surveillance' as well as the 18 month restriction in I3.3, so I will wait to hear how that may change after hearing back from Rebecca. @mickohanlon23 @ssebast2
@mickohanlon23 - here is a link to v6 of the guideline updates. Note: I need Ginny to proof the updated L2 before you code the change. I will circle back once we are good to go.
@mickohanlon23 - here is a link to the updated L2: https://mitre.sharepoint.com/:w:/r/sites/CervicalCancerCDS/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc=%7BF7C476A6-D04D-48DC-B865-725E459DC24D%7D&file=CDC_CC_CDS_L2Development_v5_2.6.23.docx&action=default&mobileredirect=true
Please see Section I.3, Sentence 3 on pages 48-49. Ginny has reviewed the change. It is ready to be incorporated into the L3.
The negative surveillance definition should read as followed
Define ‘negative HSIL surveillance’ as: Cervical Histology tests FOUND AND the ‘most severe’ results = “Histologic LSIL (CIN1)” or “<CIN1” AND Cervical Cytology tests FOUND AND the result = “LSIL” or “ASC-US” or “NILM” OR Cervical Histology tests FOUND AND the ‘most severe’ results = “Histologic LSIL (CIN1)” or “<CIN1” AND HPV test FOUND AND the result = “Negative” WHERE Cervical Cytology test is NOT FOUND on the same dateTime as the HPV test
@mickohanlon23 - we have made numerous changes to the L2 in Sections I.3 Sentences #3, 4, and 5 based on findings from Tricia's testing and circling back to the guidelines. Each change is highlighted in yellow and are summarized below.
NOTE: We plan to reach out to Rebecca about the correct way to interpret the guidelines for our definition of 'negative HSIL surveillance'. The AND highlighted in red may change based on Rebecca's response.
Sentence number: 3 - updated DISPLAY notification 4 - updated logic and DISPLAY notification (Tricia noticed that patients only need two sequential 'negative HSIL surveillance' results 6 months apart before they move to 3 sequential 'negative surveillance tests' [i.e., they no longer need histology tests]). 5 - updated DISPLAY notification
