What it should say:
I'd like to know what the policies/procedures are on buying equipment for a home office. E.g. I would like to buy a better laptop stand that clamps to my desk and frees up some desk space—is that something I just need to buy on my own? Is there a way to get discounts on office equipment through the university? Is this something to discuss with Kristina because it needs to be approved on a case-by-case basis? Or what about things that are more necessary like external hard drives for backups. Also, how often should our work computers be replaced?
