For developing an RCN proposal on a network/database of plant water potentials, both automated and manual:

[x] Read documents sent by Kim Novick
[x] Read RCP for RCNs in BIO
[x] Find and read summaries of successful RCNs, particularly in Macrosystems and IOS
[x] Ask for and read copies of successful RCNs
[x] Brainstorm ideas, particularly for instrumentation and cyber infrastructure
[x] Write a sample abstract, akin to what is reported by successful RCNs

Had followup meeting with Kim on 2/12. Plan for next time: develop shortlist of initial collaborators, email to gauge interest.

Who to work with at UA? David Breshears, Russ Scott all possibilities

Need David to e-introduce me to possible interested parties in more Ag fields.
