Values in text files go to NaN #52

I reran an old daily risk swap that had caused trouble in the past. In the
run one animal (#1) finds a HR center and returns to it. For some reason
it has a bunch of errors after it tries to set up its HR. The dispersal
error log (attached) has the following errors:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040358
Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.

After that Animal 1 keeps writing out lines to the text but the location
is NaN, NaN:
2009,8/24/2009,4:00
PM,1,NaN,NaN,False,RiskySearchModifier,1064.8967681145,6E-
06,0.019,1,1,200,1

I have attached the xml, animal #1 text file, the dispersal error log and
the datamanip log for you to look at.

Bad day for me. I just realized that Nick already created a post for these same
issues. I will merge these results there to make things simpler.

Ran this twice and could not recreate. But I was able to yesterday. So I
think the
other fix might have done this one as well.

Seemed to work for my daily risk swap but I want Nick to retest his xml before
switching this to verified.

I am re-opening this issue, as I received the same set of problems. I attached
examples of an incomplete textfile (female 41) and a file with lots of 'NA's
(female
59). In year three, 7 aniamls were incomplete and 9 had NAs.

I used v242 for this run. I think there is a more up-to-date version of SEARCH
I do
not have yet. I can re-test when I get it.

XML is the same as posted previously, but I posted here as well:
time_test_multiperiod.xml

I am re-running this on v246.

Re-run on v246 went well -- no 'NA' issues or incomplete fates. Nice job Bob!
