I ran a test where I started with initial residents where some of the
males overlapped with female HRs. In the run, the correct number of
residents were created. The only issue was that the HR center for the
animals was off (seemingly due to the overlap). The center appeared to be
the center of one of the polygons that was part of the HR and not the
center of the HR itself. This affected to location of offspring after
reproduction (since they begin at the HR center) and the location of HRs
after social map swaps (since they reestablish HRs at the center) [see
attached doc for example]. I have attached the xml and the test maps
(including some new ones) are on the FTP site.
