Values in text output go to 0

I am not sure if this is the same issue as "text writer becomes null" 
since I am unsure what that means so I started a new issue.

I am again getting longer runs where the movement, foraging and predation 
values become 0 after a certain amount of time (example attached). This 
occurred for 1 of 3 identical runs. The other runs simple froze after a 
couple of days and so I eventually crashed them after 2-3 days of 
inactivity. The run that went to 0 has a massive error log while the 
frozen runs have much smaller error logs. 

For all of the runs, though, the total size of all of the files is fairly 
large (>25 mb). What would you like me to post/send you?
