400 Bad Request on new signup #134

Was attempting to get a relative an account using their Google credentials. Received Error : extractable username data required You left something out of that request, perhaps go back and try again. Only other relevant info is that this was from a MacBook Pro OS 10.6.8 using Safari

Thanks for the report, can you give me a little bit more info, if possible:

Do you know the approximate time and date when this happened?
Any other identifying characteristics that I might use for looking in the logs (feel free to email this to me privately)?
Were you using the same browser you normally use yourself and would have been logged into tank yourself prior to this attempt?
Did you try a different browser, and if is, did it work?

This occurred at most 15 minutes prior to raising this issue. I do not recall having been been logged in to tank previously on this machine but its possible. The mac PowerBook doesn't have a browser other than Safari installed at present. I succeeded later using my own pc and the same google credentials as attempted before. I saved the URL that was being accessed at the time of the error which contains embedded data. I will send that to you separately. James

Thanks for providing all the relevant info. Unfortunately I'm unable to decode what happened with any certainty. As far as I can tell Google simple failed to send back the desired information, not sure why.

Since I don't see any particular way forward, I'm going to go ahead and close this.

BTW, it was only today that I saw the tiddler tagged for me from CDWS, so I responded.
