Thunder in Paradise - Cursor freezes / locks up before start of gameplay. #5

Game boots and video displays properly, but before starting a game, the cursor freezes / locks up preventing gameplay.

To reproduce:

  1. Boot game.
  2. Press a button to skip the amazing theme song.
  3. Press a button to skip the opening movie.
  4. From the menu select "Interactive Television" or "Game Only"
  5. On the controller section screen, select "Other"
  6. Press a button to select any controller speed

At this point the game will stop responding to inputs. The background continues to animate, so it's not a hard lock. The game should continue to the next menu selection but it doesn't.

It seems like this a common thing. I also had a game lock up. I put in an issue.
