We have to complete these criteria to apply GitBook for OSS plan.

Criteria for open source projects

[x] Not be an empty repository.
[x] Not be a fork with no activity of its own.
[x] Have a README.md file that clearly explains what the software is about.
[x] Have a CONTRIBUTING.md file that explains how to contribute to the project.
[x] Have a LICENSE file with a valid OSS license.
[x] Have a CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md file.
[x] Make it easy for others to contribute.
