Summary

After experimenting with the doc-stage branch and spending time with the documentation efforts, I think we should baseline on the content contained in this branch, and then adopt the simple feature branch model that we're using in the dbt-pilot.

Contents

There is a fair amount of content in this branch, I would like to have everyone review the content and structure, and if you find spelling or grammar errors that can easily be corrected, please feel free to do so directly against this branch.

Stashing content that's not quite ready - I've created a folder in the cdp-docs/blog/holding_drafts - these can largely be ignored, as the blog feature is currently not enabled. It's just a handy place to stash content that is in progress.

Next Steps

Once everyone signs off on this PR, we can merge the code to main and the site will be re-deployed to include these changes. After that we can look at bringing some of the draft content to a more complete state.

I added a commit #7bf70b8 because the tabs messed with someone the instructions: image image

I fixed it: image

I also added the use of tabs below where there were two sets off instructions for windows and mac (tabs are super cool!!). And minor edits to the same page.
