Device Offline in Bestway App #34

The integration documentation suggests that when adding the Spa into home assistant that it can still be controlled via the Bestway app. However, when I add the spa into HA, it immediately shows as offline in the Bestway app. Is this expected behaviour? I just moved to the latest version of the integration, but this was the same on the previous version.

Also, (and maybe linked to the above) if the spa loses power, it does not reconnect into HA when the power is restored and due to the above issue, I have to delete the device in both HA and the Bestway app and re-add them (again going offline in Bestway app once added to HA).

I forgot to mention that I have a Milan Airjet Plus.

On the point on being offline in the app, I see a similar issue. Sometimes if you go back to the app after a bit it appears online but it's very hit and miss.

Ok thanks for the feedback - seems a little strange. For me it always goes offline right after signing up in Home Assistant and its never seen online, but as it keeps working on HA it's not a massive issue as I never use the Bestway app. Just if power is lost to the tub for some reason it is a little annoying to re-establish the connection.

interesting as i have had both the integration working and the bestway app.

I have just carried out two tests on my own Milan Airjet Plus:

I'm going to close this for now, but if someone can produce some reliable steps to reproduce the issue it could be opened again.
