1 month ago I think I found the solution, and the problem was me, not you :-)
- To turn on the heater in automations, the device's "Change HVAC mode" can be used.
- To determine whether the spa is currently heating, the spa_thermostat hvac_action attribute can be checked against the "heating" flag.
That solves my problem. I'll close the ticket! Again, thanks for your work and for sharing it with the community!
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I am missing a switch entity to start the heater in an automation. Since I am pretty new to HA I am not sure if I am missing something or this is really something that should be added.
Describe the solution you'd like I'd like to have an entity switch.spa_heater.
Describe alternatives you've considered You have added that beautiful card that has a button labeled "Heizbetrieb", but from the integration I cannot find that switch in order to add it to an automation.
