This program is open to small and medium enterprises under 500 employees. The program has $3.1M in funding, and a cap on individual grants of $350k per organization (combining all categories: source). If we make a conservative estimate that the median grant awarded is $50K, around 60 grants could be awarded this year. If NRCan receives 10 applications per available grant (wild guess) they will have fewer than 1000 applicants.
