As a developer of Notify, I would like to be aware of design decisions and solutions so that I can make more educated decisions in the future. We need to document the decisions we made when improving the performance of GC Notify.
WHY are we building?
Notify has a best practice policy to document major design decisions. It is part of the definition of done when completing tasks.
WHAT are we building?
Update the performance test ADR to include the final results as well as any caveats or solutions that we tried. Document why we went with what we did.
VALUE created by our solution
Aligns with Notify best practices.
Will be useful for the future, if/when we need to revisit performance tuning.
