Japanese name initials currently shown in Kana #193

Issue - Japanese characters shown as name initials can result in unintended words. Should be showing the letters in English alphabet, or a default image, to avoid this.

Issue is specific to iOS, since Android does not show initials if no image (Android uses a default image instead)
