status of the Twitter Block Chain project

@satsukitv, what is the status of the Twitter Block Chain project?

• Basic functionality is broken for many (if not all) users
• No commits for more than a year

I have not yet tested it, but https://github.com/qink1986/twitter-block-chain appears to be the most active fork, but it does not allow anyone to file issues, only pull requests.

I might just fork and rework this so it works again. Possible implementation of a timing delay to avoid throttling that twitter put in would solve the issue of the 500 block limit. I have to look into it a little more, but if this project is abandoned someone should rework the code.

I've stopped using TBC as the project is dead. I'm using Redblock now which provides much more functionalities. So instead of forking a dead project, I suggest you take a look at RB. Here it is : https://github.com/gaeulbyul/RedBlock?files=1

It looks to be in Korean but all translation are made on the extension itself.

Here are the functionalities:

• Multi-session: You can use Twitter while using Chainblock or run Chainblock to other users. - Note : However, you log out of the chain block, use or malfunction occurs when the account transition.
• API Limit Response: When you reach the limit, you can wait without stopping with an error, and then run again when the limit is released (more than 100k limit)
• Match-follow chain block function: Only users who have followed the opponent are blocked.
• Unchain Block (Unblock all followers)
• User storage function: If you frequently (un) chain block to a specific user, you can run it without entering the user's profile directly.
• Chain block based on tweet response: Retweet a specific tweet or block users who liked it.
• You can still (conditionally) execute a chain block even if the other person blocks you.
• Added a function to show the blocking button when a specific word is entered in the Twitter user's profile or name
• Added a function to load the block list file and execute chain block -Dark mode UI support -Internal fix to slightly improve the speed of chain block
