Hi @agstephens - Just a note to say I have been also been experimenting with the use of the CMIP6 object store on JASMIN. I'm involved in the upcoming CMIP6 hackathon, and am putting together some example notebooks for participants (along with @jatonline). It would be great to include an example of using the object store with intake-esm, but it seems the catalog isn't very complete here at the moment. Do you have plans to make the catalog more complete, or should this still be considered 'experimental'?

Hi @wseviour @jatonline, the initial data loaded was considered a set of popular datasets in CMIP6. However, it is intended to only be a subset. However, if you have a broader list please send it my way and we will consider what we can add (without making promises :-) ).

Thanks @agstephens, that's good to know. I guess that you want this to be a subset of all the CMIP6 data in order to limit the amount of data converted to Zarr for cloud storage? For the Hackathon itself we'll be on JASMIN, so might it be feasible for there to be a catalog of all the NetCDF data which we could use?

We need to capture the user list somewhere useful (not public like here).
