Moving ticket to extra-sci-packages.
No conda package available, but there is an RPM. Tested installation on sci2-test (since uninstalled). Installs fine, approx 120MB including one small additional dependency, but does involve adding an extra yum repo. Asked SCD (in JASMIN ops channel) which of these options would be preferable.
I agree, let's close this. Users can install vscode on their local systems and we should recommend that.
We are still not at a stage to support IDEs within jaspy envs.
