Looks in principle as if jasmine-browser-runner, actually maintained by Jasmine, could maybe do as good or better than Karma. One advantage is that it's maintained by the jasmine team meaning support and compatibility for the long run. However in general the first step is just to experiment with using it, perhaps within the reference Karma package config shared at https://github.com/cefn/typescript-karma-counter
