Thank you for this PR! Confirmed make clean linux now works as expected and the image builds successfully. Fixes #5

@hmbedded, can you please resolve the merge conflict on the linux-nvgpu/linux_nvgpu.mk file naming? My fault for reviewing your PRs in the wrong order. Happy to merge after the conflict is resolved :)
