only refresh update works reliably #2

Either the check-for-update script needs an overhall or needs to be scrapped. It's possible this script is not suitable for mobile devices and only 'real' computers should be able to run full screen. (Although it's probably a matter of months before the fastest phone is faster than my laptop...)

Tested only fairphone 1, but on the default browser, firefox and chrome. The default browser does not work well at all - doesn't resize the SVG in the expected way either. Firefox and chrome work fine.
