**Author(s):**
**Release date:**
**Link to download:** (Please use zip to package the addon)
**Image:** (optional, preferable with no UI control element, HUD display)
**Thumbnail:** (optional, by default will be the downscaled version of Image if present, so unless you want something different to show as a thumbnail, leave it empty)

Check before uploading an add-on

Your add-on will be running on Android/iOS/macOS/Windows, to enable maximum compatibility, please ensure that

  1. files names referenced in models, ssc, dsc files, etc are exactly the same as the actual file names (some file systems are case sensitive. For example if in your .ssc there is Mesh "Progress.cmod", then the file name should be exactly Progress.cmod not progress.cmod).
  2. Textures should have width/height of power of 2 (for example: 1024 512, a texture of 1000 500 will not work on many mobile devices).

Example:

Kepler-1649 and 55 Cancri not uploaded because they include npot textures. please upscale/downscale npot textures.

Just looked; I'll reupload them both later, but the only non-power-of-two texture in the 55 Cancri addon is not actually used.

As mentioned on Discord, please rename "NGC 2237 (Rosetta Nebula)" to "NGC 2237 (Rosette Nebula)". Rassilon misspelled its name in the original addon. See Wikipedia, SIMBAD, etc.

all uploaded. however I changed the demo object to the stars since the Go button only appears when the object can be found in search.

Title: Mars Cube One (MarCO) Description: Mars Cube One (or MarCO) was a Mars flyby mission launched on 5 May 2018 alongside NASA's InSight Mars lander mission. It consisted of two CubeSats, MarCO-A and MarCO-B, that provided a real-time communications link to Earth for InSight during its entry, descent, and landing (EDL) on 26 November 2018 - when InSight was out of line of sight from the Earth. These were the first CubeSats to operate beyond Earth orbit, and aside from telecommunications they also tested CubeSats' endurance in deep space. On 5 February 2019, NASA reported that both the CubeSats had gone silent by 5 January 2019, and are unlikely to be heard from again. Gliese 581 has at least three confirmed planets orbiting, in addition to three more speculated to exist.

Two of these former candidates (f, g) don't exist; the other one (d) probably doesn't exist, though this has been disputed.

On the same subject, as has been mentioned on Discord, should the Barnard's Star b addon be moved to the "Hypothetical & Disproven" category?

Oh right wrong description. Also I attempted to remove the said planets remotely (with no success) because they exist on Celestia Mobile's stock extrasolar.ssc

...did you make the textures redder? Maybe you forgot to remove BlendTexture parameters?

No, I did not made the textures redder. I didn't notice the BlendTexture parameters in the original .ssc file

SevenSpheres commented 2 years ago

Yeah, that has to wait for Levin to get content updates into default mobile Celestia, which he said he can do sometime this month. You can kind of remove objects, but they'll still be selectable: Star: Barycenter 114110 { RA 0 Dec 0 Distance 4.7e+10 } Planet or other ssc object: Modify "g" "Gliese 581" { Class "invisible" }
