My mangosd.exe randomly closes/crashes around about every 15min. How do i troubleshoot this?

What expansion are you running? How much RAM does your PC have? I have run all 3 included in SPP, and WotLK is bar FAR the most crash-prone and unstable, especially if you are letting bots PVP. If you are using stock settings for 1000 bots, you should have 12-16GB RAM. 8GB RAM does not cut it, especially on TBC & WotLK. You can get away with 4GB RAM if you are running Vanilla with no bots. Worst case, delete your current install and start over. Do NOT move your installation folder, keep it where you put it originally. All anecdotal observations on my part, but they seem to minimize crash issues.

I run vanilla on stock setting with 2x exp/gold/skillgain. I have 32GB of RAM. The installation was not moved or alterd. I'm not going to start new when i don't know how or why this happens. Could addons play a role in this? I use a few. I will disable the bots and see if it still happens.

Thanks for you replay, if there's anything else that might be helpful, feel free to share.

Hello! 1) You can post crash logs .txt files here, Repack Launcher -> Server Info -> Crash logs -> last .txt file 2) You can try switch to beta build, that might have some fixes since release, also using launcher

Sorry for the late reply, I nuked the bots with a full reset and that fixed the issue.

the bots definitely are causing a crash. wished that the devs had time for this project. its really fun, until the crash occurs..

woltk version is not stable due to some bugs in cmangos. I'll update the core next week, wel'll see if it improves the situation
