Keep hearing random sounds #209

(New to github) Fresh install of WoW tbc server for solo play. While playing, I keep getting random sounds that repeat and overlay each other in the background. For example, when in Stormwind, I hear the sound of a gate closing repeatedly. In Elwynn forest, I keep hearing "More Work?" and "No one else available?" repeating over and over again. This can happen as little as once ever 3-5minutes or as much as 30 times a minute. Only "fix" is to disable sound completely.

Troubleshooting steps taken: Two separate installations of WoW - with and without add-ons (Firestorm and VengeanceWoW come with add-ons preinstalled but I removed those with WTF files while troubleshooting).

Hello, "more work?" is probably done by peasants near lumber mill. They are numberous so maybe they sound very often when you are close?

Apologies for the slight thread bump, but I can second this. Wolves and workers in Elwynn can have sound queues trigger from insane distances. It doesn't always occur, but when it does I've heard the Eastvale Logging Camp (84,64) workers from the Blackwell Pumpkin Patch (70,80) and the wolf howls from virtually anywhere in the zone - including inside of both mines - despite typically triggering roughly south of Crystal Lake (52,67).

Edit for clarify: I'll note that I'm not in TBC, I'm in WOTLK.
