It is possible to play the repack with 8.00 GB of ram? #263

basically, the title, I notice that when explore starts in the server, my ram goes from 60% to 90%. I was wondering if I can lower any setting to make it work (I only have 100 bots)

vanilla yes, tbc/wotlk unlikely. but you can disable AutoDoQuests in bots config and try. If still goes too much, then can lower bots amount

also that starting spike of RAM is just to load some stuff..it gets lower right after start so it's not a good measure of how much RAM server uses

oh I see, Thanks I will try. On another note, If I want to update I just need to open Server_Update Windows Batch File right

maybe using readyboots for the ram would work?

don't know, only used readyboost in 2010 on Windows7...
