Can you provide a commercial license for protobuf-net? Even if this means that
you have to pay a fee to obtain it.

Hi palexandru; in short, it depends what you are looking for in a commercial
license. If you mean "I want to use it in a commercial product", then fine - go
for it; I place no restriction on you. If you mean "I want dedicated sub-1-hour
support and full liability", then simply: as an OSS author working on my own
time I'm just not set up to provide that, and it is pretty likely that any
/reasonable/ fee from a very small number of *paying* customers would be
entirely swallowed by the overheads associated with a commercial offering (i.e.
insurance, tax, accounting, etc).

What is it that you need, specifically?

Hi,
I am thinking of a license similar with the commercial license for RavenDB:
http://ravendb.net/licensing i.e. something that is suitable for companies that
have a closed source policy.
Cheers,
Alex Pop

The existing license should be fully compatible with closed source. No demands
are made of any user, other than maybe "don't sue me". You do not need to
release your source, or mention your usage of protobuf-net in any way. Use as
you will.
