Rethink is long way from being a tech-naive friendly app. We think perhaps a Rethink Lite UI mode with less controls and knobs might be the way forward for folks that can't be bothered with technical terms.
Rethink DNS works very well, and i love to recommend it to anyone who's willing to have a better browsing experience on the unternet. But most people don't really understand what a DNS or firewall does in the first place, and therefore can be lost when it comes to browsing and configuring the app. I figured there could be a welcome screen for people opening Rethink DNS for the first time after an install, briefly explaining what it is and does, with handy links to the docs and faq for those who want more precision. This would help popularize the use of this app and its tools, and raise awareness on how the internet works as a whole.
Teaching people about how it works could also be done with info buttons scattered in the menus, briefly explaining each of them. The doc and faq links could also be a bit more prominent in the About page, grouped with the Contact adresses under a Help Me section.
