Controller Input no longer detected after 2.0-29 #748

Hi,

Controller input hasn't worked since 2.0-29. The PS4 and Switch Pro Controller no longer work. Controller input is not detected in the input settings or when running a game.

Mac OS 13.3 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

Same issue here on Linux (Debian 12, bookworm) with a Steam controller.

When using versions 2.0-30 onward, the controller is no longer detected.

Dualsense is not working at all.

I've had this issue as well and solved it by removing my PS4 Controller [SDLController] through the button with the minus sign and then adding it back through the button with the plus sign.

Cool that works. Never would of thought of that. Weird but whatever. Thanks!

-Update- Well sort of works. I have to keep doing this every time I open CEMU.

I'm currently using cemu-2.0_p20230416 (commit 41f2c27) from the tatsh-overlay on Gentoo Linux and I've had to do that only once.

@MetallicaPixel: I'd check if the configuration file «Cemu/controllerProfiles/controller0.xml» is being written when you close the «Input settings» window (by looking at the modification time of the said file).

@Scall Well it seems it working just fine today. Yesterday when I did it, I tried out a game, works fine, then quit CEMU then tried another game and then it was back to not working.

Weird but its working now. Maybe my computer just needed a restart... Oh well no worries . (Also checked that file yep and the mod date is changed)

Any progress on this? The only thing works for dualsense is Wii U Pro Controller, but 007 Legends won't let me start with it. (Gamepad only)
