chronos.bin 12%[========> ] 616.00K 3.97KB/s eta 17m 5s

I think you may have a bad 12V DC supply. Can you try another DC supply? Any 2.1/5.5mm 7-14V supply will do.

sgrayban commented 2 years ago

No I don't. I'll have to buy one when I get paid. Got a Amazon link for one that works?

dave4445 commented 2 years ago

https://amzn.to/3Bcsufq or https://amzn.to/3vHFUPr

sgrayban commented 2 years ago

When I get it in I'll let you know here if it made any difference but it is still downloading very slow wit the new update and this is on a 100mb line. If I download the file from my office computer its just seconds.

So this is was the current download speed and the errors it had... making me wonder if there is more than just a power supply issue going on as I never had this slow issue at the beginning and only the last 2 FW updates.

Any update to this? did you get another supply to test with?

sgrayban commented 2 years ago

Yes I got 2 new power supplies in yesterday but no way to test the firmware update until there is one

dave4445 commented 2 years ago

The 'U' command will always download the firmware so it can check the version

sgrayban commented 2 years ago

Ahhh didn't know that LOL -- yes much better now

Woops already tossed it out yesterday when the trash was picked up -- it was green when I pulled it. Sorry
