Hello everyone,

We entered into a partnership with WHMCS for the "CentralNic Reseller" brand. WHMCS 8.7 now ships with the native integration of this registrar brand. This is a big step for CentralNic and my team - we've been working for years to get there. Let me take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal customers from HEXONET, CentralNic Reseller (formerly RRPproxy), TPP Wholesale, and internet.bs who use WHMCS for reporting bugs, requesting features/addressing ideas, and for just staying in touch with us. You helped us get noticed by WHMCS and finally take this big step.

Q&A

Is this native module a replacement for the one you're maintaining/offering? Ok, your module is now superfluous and we've to migrate to the built-in Module, right!? Wouldn't it be better to extend the built-in module so that your custom module can be deprecated?

No, our registrar module will always be more advanced in point of features and comes therefore with more benefits for our resellers. Still, if you feel better with using the built-in module then feel free to switch to that one. We expect that customers who started with the built-in module will migrate to our module. We fully agree that getting the built-in module extended with all the custom features we have in place, would be perfect. WHMCS is always shipping their registrar modules with a standard set of features - they ensure all their natively integrated registrar modules do not differ in that regard. Registrars with a contracted partnership may benefit of newer technical ways that they introduce for covering some features in a better way - but that's it. Means, we continue in the way as we did over years: Covering custom registrar modules for our brands.

Have nice day! Kai
