Hey Cent Team,

i have an additional idea, to add an option in the "creating a downtime view" to disable, or enable the DowntimeStartAlerts (At the moment, everytime a mail is send for each Downtimed Host/Service ).

If a larger Downtime for many Hosts is planned, you've got about ~ 400 Mails, for each service & host - this would be nice to disable.

Mail subject: \ DOWNTIMESTART alert - Terminalserver 1/check_nt_disk_freespace_c is OK **

Best regards, Constantin

Hi,

Sending out notification is Nagios' job and we cannot control that as the external command does not provide such an option.

All you can do is filter out the downtimestart notification in the contact forms... I invite you to propose this feature there: http://forge.centreon.com/projects/centreon-engine/issues
