ACL - Manager visibility of contact(group) #3780

Hi,

I have configured ACL in my platform, but users with ACL doesn't see all contacts registered in Centreon (for notifications). It sees only all user in his ACL group.

So when he looks to the configuration of hosts or services, it doesn't see who is alerted...

Could you correct this plz ?

Hi Julien,

In my opinion, it's not logical. ACL must apply only on the ressources (hosts, services, hostgroups, etc.). We delegate some configuration on hosts/services to multiple teams, and they need to see which people/groups are notified...

In your case, it's not logical. But in other case, it's logical. For us, If you see all contacts, it's because you are admin. Some companies use Centreon for having a mutualised monitoring plateform between many customers. so for those companies it's not possible to merge all customer contacts on this page.

In this case, I think you should add an option to enable/disable the visibility of all users/groups. I don't think i am the only one in this situation.

Hello,

I confirm that we are in the same case. Some team are in charge of the user configuration only or in charge of simple configuration. Putting this team in admin is potentially an issue for us. I understand that you want to prepare your software to work in SAS mode but it will be great if we could delegate some configuration without admin account.
