service by host definition is losing already defined service group relations when resaved #6115

Open deccard opened 6 years ago

deccard commented 6 years ago

Centreon Web version: 2.8.18 Centreon Engine version: 1.8.1 Centreon Broker version: 3.0.13

OS: centreon-vm 3.4.1

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. create a "service by host" and link it to a service group
  2. after saving freshly created service, link it to one or more additional hosts and save it again
  3. re-open service definition and hit save button again
  4. linked service group relation is gone

Describe the results you received: losing previously defined service group relations

Describe the results you expected: to keep previously defined service group relations

Additional information you think important (e.g. issue happens only occasionally): service group definitions and relations are essential in our notification/escalation setup, so this issue is critical to us.

no feedback, no follow-up questions? I can confirm that mentioned behaviour is reproducible and still present. If we link a "service by host" to two or more hosts we're unable to edit service group relations because selection box is shaded and not editable. And even more critical, an already defined service group relation is gone when we finally save this "service by host".
