sim3C: consider exposing more parameters controlling empirical distribution to users #52

The EmpiricalDistribution with CID modelling has a number of parameters, all of which could be exposed to the user of sim3C. This would be from the perspective of having enough rope so as to hang yourself. Not my preferred approach, but there are at least a few parameters which might prove to be useful for users to control.
