More recent versions of Nextflow throw exceptions with MetaSweeper.java

As yet undetermined issue with more recent versions of Nextflow and MetaSweeper.

Tested on hand version.

Fixing this will hopefully be just a matter of identifying the point of change between the last working version and first broken.

Testing tagged releases with Oracle Java 1.8.0_121-b13 and Groovy 2.4.9. Each release was built locally.

0.20.0 works
0.21.0 works
0.22.6 works
0.23.4 works
0.24.4 groovy compilation error in MetaSweeper. There is probably a change to part of the NF codebase, to which I hitched my post.

From this series of tests, it looks like the error I experienced previously must have involved the environment rather than the release of Nextflow.
