This has now been resolved. Searchkit will always use the metadata in the study detail view, and will only use the filtering for the country filter.

The country filter has been cleaned as intended using the ISO code in metadata and having the corresponding country name in English in the filter as asked.
However, in detailed study view what should be displayed is the content of the element. Forgot to specify this, sorry.
At present, the same change applies to metadata in study view, resulting in having the English country name in local language metadata. Example from a study description in Finnish:
