[Site-to-Site]: DN cannot be extracted #317

I have deployed two NiFi clusters on AKS:

I am using cert-manager for the in-cluster communication certificates, and ingress to expose the clusters. While everything seems to be working, the app-log container in both clusters keeps printing these error logs:

ERROR [Site-to-Site Worker Thread-190] o.a.nifi.security.util.CertificateUtils The incoming request did not contain client certificates and thus the DN cannot be extracted. Check that the other endpoint is providing a complete client certificate chain

As far as I can tell, the certificates for each node are not created properly, which is causing this error log. Any pointers on what is causing this issue and how to tackle it?
