Can we get graphing in this I was thinking open flash charts or something
similar.

Would be nice if this turned into a small usable analytics app. There is
definitely a need!

I suppose that's a possibility... What kind of data do you expect the graphs to
represent?

I would love to have some kind of django web analytic!
would be nice to have:

graph breaking down daily/weekly/monthly visits.
visits over time in a day
average peak times
top referrers graph (top X number of referrers)
download tracking

breakdown of all of these stats per page would be good too

would be nice to have other information track-able and graphed:
screen resolution
operating system
browser version
average time on site
search engine keywords

Here is a competent js file that grabs most objects:

I have commenced work on this, but I think it will be a while before I can put
in the time required to get this working nicely.

I'm willing to chip in to work on this portion if you'd like.

I appreciate the offer!! Please fork the project (preferably on BitBucket or
GitHub) and do as much as you find time to do. A rather large project has just
been handed to me at work, so I might be a little out of touch for a while
again. Hopefully not for a year or two like before though :)

After forking and building whatever you can, just send me a pull request and
I'll take a look at your work as time allows. Thanks again!
