Desktop Notifications Mac OS X 10.8 #367

Would it be possible for the desktop notifications to show on the active desktop on Mac OS X?

For example, I run Chrome in full screen and often change to a different deskop to do other stuff and the silver bird notifications do not popup.

Checker Plus for GMail seems to have the ability to do so, so I figure it's technically possible.
