Silver Bird not saving my chosen settings #401

Hello. I've been using Silver Bird for more than a year now and since yesterday the extension isn't assuming the settings I set it too, namely "Desktop On Notifications" and showing pop-up notification for tweets in the Home timeline. Every time I press Save with these options chosen and close the window, if I go back they're reverted back to what they were previously (Notifications on page and no pop-ups).

I'm using Chrome 28.0.1500.52 m on Windows 7 64-bit.

Other extensions I have are:

Adblock Chime Clearly Cryptocat DoNotTrackMe EvernoteWebclipper Feedly Google Keep HTTPS Everywhere LastPass Lazarus OneTab Pocket The Great Suspender Writebox

I have tested disabling all but Silver Bird but with no luck.
