Not saving desktop notification setting #404

Notifications used to pop up in the bottom right-hand corner, but they come from the top right (and I can't click on them to prevent them from closing).

I've changed the settings from 'notify on page' to 'desktop notifications' but they always revert.

Any help would be much appreciated!
