Not an issue. But i love this Chrome extension so much since 2010. I have been using this at my office and home whenever i am working on my laptop. Please update the extension to show the entire 280 characters. As of now it gives an extended link which opens on twitter.com . Clicking the link pretty much defeats the purpose if i have to use twitter web client

Try using it in detached mode:

chrome-extension://cggngiphndchpmlighpenhejheolmeod/popup.html?detached

I would love to see those tweets without line break, which consumes lots more of screen realstate thou.

Try such patch on local copy of extension:

280.patch.txt

Well, it's for SilverBird plus but modifications for SilverBird will be similar.

I mostly have this fixed I think in a fork of this.

I don't think it works on DMs or Favorites, but it seems to pull in tweets ok. I don't use it to send out tweets so no idea if that works with the extended limit.

Changes are what is in @arekm s txt file though it was not quite the same as apparently that is a different version.

working fork more or less: https://github.com/rdyar/silver_bird
