Fixed unicode encoding error #17

I closed my previous pull request from January and just opened this one. Also, see this Stack Overflow thread regarding a temporary workaround that I had issued in my version. It can now be fixed.

Is the stackoverflow fix already included? Or would I have to integrate it myself?

Anyway, will work heavily on the API interface in the next week. Thanks!

You'll have to integrate it yourself, unfortunately. I didn't get the chance to implement it.
