Start-Up Website of Feed Sidebar always appears #39

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Whenever I open Firefox the Feed Sidebar Start-up Website appears. Is there an option that this doesn't appear as I really don't need it everytime.
  2. Also, I always get the question if I want to subscribe to the "Latest Trending" Feed, which I don't.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? no start-up website from the Feed sidebar, no questions if I want to subscribe to a feed

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Feed Sidebar 4.1.1, Firefox 3.0.11 Windows 2000

Please provide any additional information below.

I believe this is a bug in Firefox, but here's what you can do to fix it:

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Go the the URL "about:config"
  3. Find the entry for extensions.feedbar.firstRun
  4. Double-click on it, to set it to false.
  5. Quit Firefox.
  6. Start Firefox.

That should fix this problem for you.
